The Egyptians knew that the Universe was a Self-Referential Structure, a Fractal. They knew that one principle repeats itself on every Level. The Structure of the Universe is repeated in the Human Body and the Human Cells. If the Universe is a Nine-Fold pattern, the Spiritual Body also has to be a Nine-Fold Pattern.

The Nine Bodies were named Ren the Name of the Body, the Chemical Structure, the Strong Force, Ab the Heart, the Center, the Consciousness, The Center of Gravity, Akh Shiner, The Luminous Body, the Force of Decay, Radiation, the Weak Force, Khaibit Shadow, Aura, the Electro Magnetic Field of the Body, Ka, Ba , Khat, Sahu and Sekhem.

A person’s Ren his DNA, his Blueprint, Date Time & Place of Birth was given to them at birth and would live for as long as that name was spoken. A cartouche a magical rope was often used to surround the name and protect it for eternity. The knowledge of the True Name could destroy a man. If somebody knew the Date Time and Place of a Person he could find out with the Use of Astrology everything he wanted to know.

It was also believed that if a man knew the name of a god or a demon, and addressed him by it, he was bound to answer him and to do whatever he wished.

The concept of the Sahu is well known in many old cultures. In Tibetan mysticism the Sahu is called the Dharmakaya the Truth Body. In the Christian Gnostic tradition it is called, the Resurrection Body. In Sufism the Most Sacred Body wujud al-aqdas and Supra-Celestial Body asli haqiqi and in Taoism, it is called the Diamond Body. Those who have attained it are called the Immortals and he Skywalkers the Djedi

The Sahu is an InterStellar Space-Ship steered by the Soul Ba. It accompanies the human being in its endless cycle of birth, death, transformation, and rebirth. The Sahu contains the Projected Personalities Ren in the Matrix, the Memories Akasha, the spiritual Aims and Purposes of every Incarnation of the Soul in every part of the Multi-Verse.

If we understand the Nine-Fold Pattern it is not so difficult to map the first four Spiritual Bodies Ren, Ab, Akh, Khaibit to the Four Forces or Four Elements of our Physical Universe.

The next five Bodies are very different. They are related to the Egyptian Underworld governed by Osiris. The Egyptian Underworld is a representation of our Seven Twin Universes associated with what the current scientists call Dark Matter.

The Ka Dark Matter Chemical Body, the Ba, Dark Matter Heart, The Center, Conscioussness, Soul, the Khat Dark Matter Etheric Body and the Sahu Dark Matter Light Body exist in a different SpaceTime.

THE HUMAN DNA IS A BIOLOGICAL INTERNET

 And superior in many aspects to the artificial one. Russian scientific research directly or indirectly explains phenomena such as clairvoyance, intuition, spontaneous and remote acts of healing, self healing, affirmation techniques, unusual light/auras around people namely spiritual masters, mind’s influence on weather patterns and much more. In addition, there is evidence for a whole new type of medicine in which DNA can be influenced and reprogrammed by words and frequencies WITHOUT cutting out and replacing single genes.

Only 10% of our DNA is being used for building proteins. It is this subset of DNA that is of interest to western researchers and is being examined and categorized. The other 90% are considered junk DNA. The Russian researchers, however, convinced that nature was not dumb, joined linguists and geneticists in a venture to explore those 90% of junk DNA. Their results, findings and conclusions are simply revolutionary! According to them, our DNA is not only responsible for the construction of our body but also serves as data storage and in communication. The Russian linguists found that the genetic code, especially in the apparently useless 90%, follows the same rules as all our human languages. To this end they compared the rules of syntax the way in which words are put together to form phrases and sentences, semantics the study of meaning in language forms and the basic rules of grammar. They found that the alkalines of our DNA follow a regular grammar and do have set rules just like our languages. So human languages did not appear coincidentally but are a reflection of our inherent DNA.

The Russian biophysicist and molecular biologist Pjotr Garjajev and his colleagues also explored the vibrational behavior of the DNA. For the sake of brevity I will give only a summary here. For further exploration please refer to the appendix at the end of this article.The bottom line was Living chromosomes function just like solitonic/holographic computers using the endogenous DNA laser radiation. This means that they managed for example to modulate certain frequency patterns onto a laser ray and with it influenced the DNA frequency and thus the genetic information itself. Since the basic structure of DNA-alkaline pairs and of language as explained earlier are of the same structure, no DNA decoding is necessary.

One can simply use words and sentences of the human language! This, too, was experimentally proven! Living DNA substance in living tissue, not in vitro will always react to language-modulated laser rays and even to radio waves, if the proper frequencies are being used.

This finally and scientifically explains why affirmations, autogenous training, hypnosis and the like can have such strong effects on humans and their bodies. It is entirely normal and natural for our DNA to react to language. While western researchers cut single genes from the DNA strands and insert them elsewhere, the Russians enthusiastically worked on devices that can influence the cellular metabolism through suitable modulated radio and light frequencies and thus repair genetic defects.

Garjajev’s research group succeeded in proving that with this method chromosomes damaged by x-rays for example can be repaired. They even captured information patterns of a particular DNA and transmitted it onto another, thus reprogramming cells to another genome. ?So they successfully transformed, for example, frog embryos to salamander embryos simply by transmitting the DNA information patterns! This way the entire information was transmitted without any of the side effects or disharmonies encountered when cutting out and re-introducing single genes from the DNA. This represents an unbelievable, world-transforming revolution and sensation! All this by simply applying vibration and language instead of the archaic cutting-out procedure! This experiment points to the immense power of wave genetics, which obviously has a greater influence on the formation of organisms than the biochemical processes of alkaline sequences.

Esoteric and spiritual teachers have known for ages that our body is programmable by language, words and thought. This has now been scientifically proven and explained. Of course the frequency has to be correct. And this is why not everybody is equally successful or can do it with always the same strength. The individual person must work on the inner processes and maturity in order to establish a conscious communication with the DNA. The Russian researchers work on a method that is not dependent on these factors but will ALWAYS work, provided one uses the correct frequency.

But the higher developed an individual’s consciousness is, the less need is there for any type of device! One can achieve these results by oneself, and science will finally stop to laugh at such ideas and will confirm and explain the results. And it doesn't end there.?The Russian scientists also found out that our DNA can cause disturbing patterns in the vacuum, thus producing magnetized wormholes! Wormholes are the microscopic equivalents of the so-called Einstein-Rosen bridges in the vicinity of black holes left by burned-out stars.? These are tunnel connections between entirely different areas in the universe through which information can be transmitted outside of space and time. The DNA attracts these bits of information and passes them on to our consciousness. This process of hyper communication is most effective in a state of relaxation. Stress, worries or a hyperactive intellect prevent successful hyper communication or the information will be totally distorted and useless.

In nature, hyper communication has been successfully applied for millions of years. The organized flow of life in insect states proves this dramatically. Modern man knows it only on a much more subtle level as intuition. But we, too, can regain full use of it. An example from Nature: When a queen ant is spatially separated from her colony, building still continues fervently and according to plan. If the queen is killed, however, all work in the colony stops. No ant knows what to do. Apparently the queen sends the building plans also from far away via the group consciousness of her subjects. She can be as far away as she wants, as long as she is alive. In man hyper communication is most often encountered when one suddenly gains access to information that is outside one’s knowledge base. Such hyper communication is then experienced as inspiration or intuition. The Italian composer Giuseppe Tartini for instance dreamt one night that a devil sat at his bedside playing the violin. The next morning Tartini was able to note down the piece exactly from memory, he called it the Devil’s Trill Sonata.

For years, a 42-year old male nurse dreamt of a situation in which he was hooked up to a kind of knowledge CD-ROM. Verifiable knowledge from all imaginable fields was then transmitted to him that he was able to recall in the morning. There was such a flood of information that it seemed a whole encyclopedia was transmitted at night. The majority of facts were outside his personal knowledge base and reached technical details about which he knew absolutely nothing.

When hyper communication occurs, one can observe in the DNA as well as in the human being special phenomena. The Russian scientists irradiated DNA samples with laser light. On screen a typical wave pattern was formed. When they removed the DNA sample, the wave pattern did not disappear, it remained. Many control experiments showed that the pattern still came from the removed sample, whose energy field apparently remained by itself. This effect is now called phantom DNA effect. It is surmised that energy from outside of space and time still flows through the activated wormholes after the DNA was removed. The side effect encountered most often in hyper communication also in human beings are inexplicable electromagnetic fields in the vicinity of the persons concerned. Electronic devices like CD players and the like can be irritated and cease to function for hours. When the electromagnetic field slowly dissipates, the devices function normally again. Many healers and psychics know this effect from their work. The better the atmosphere and the energy, the more frustrating it is that the recording device stops functioning and recording exactly at that moment. And repeated switching on and off after the session does not restore function yet, but next morning all is back to normal. Perhaps this is reassuring to read for many, as it has nothing to do with them being technically inept, it means they are good at hyper communication.

In their book Vernetzte Intelligenz Networked Intelligence, Grazyna Gosar and Franz Bludorf explain these connections precisely and clearly. The authors also quote sources presuming that in earlier times humanity had been, just like the animals, very strongly connected to the group consciousness and acted as a group. To develop and experience individuality we humans however had to forget hyper communication almost completely. Now that we are fairly stable in our individual consciousness, we can create a new form of group consciousness, namely one, in which we attain access to all information via our DNA without being forced or remotely controlled about what to do with that information. We now know that just as on the internet our DNA can feed its proper data into the network, can call up data from the network and can establish contact with other participants in the network. Remote healing, telepathy or remote sensing about the state of relatives etc.. can thus be explained. Some animals know also from afar when their owners plan to return home. That can be freshly interpreted and explained via the concepts of group consciousness and hyper communication. Any collective consciousness cannot be sensibly used over any period of time without a distinctive individuality. Otherwise we would revert to a primitive herd instinct that is easily manipulated.

Hyper communication in the new millennium means something quite different: Researchers think that if humans with full individuality would regain group consciousness, they would have a god-like power to create, alter and shape things on Earth! AND humanity is collectively moving toward such a group consciousness of the new kind. Fifty percent of today’s children will be problem children as soon as the go to school. The system lumps everyone together and demands adjustment. But the individuality of today’s children is so strong that that they refuse this adjustment and giving up their idiosyncrasies in the most diverse ways.

At the same time more and more clairvoyant children are born [see the book China’s Indigo Childrenby Paul Dong or the chapter about Indigos in my book “Nutze die taeglichen Wunder”Make Use of the Daily Wonders. Something in those children is striving more and more towards the group consciousness of the new kind, and it will no longer be suppressed. As a rule, weather for example is rather difficult to influence by a single individual. But it may be influenced by a group consciousness nothing new to some tribes doing it in their rain dances. Weather is strongly influenced by Earth resonance frequencies, the so-called Schumann frequencies. But those same frequencies are also produced in our brains, and when many people synchronize their thinking or individuals spiritual masters, for instance focus their thoughts in a laser-like fashion, then it is scientifically speaking not at all surprising if they can thus influence weather.

Researchers in group consciousness have formulated the theory of Type I civilizations. A humanity that developed a group consciousness of the new kind would have neither environmental problems nor scarcity of energy. For if it were to use its mental power as a unified civilization, it would have control of the energies of its home planet as a natural consequence. And that includes all natural catastrophes! A theoretical Type II civilization would even be able to control all energies of their home galaxy. In my book Nutze die taeglichen Wunder, I have described an example of this: Whenever a great many people focus their attention or consciousness on something similar like Christmas time, football world championship or the funeral of Lady Diana in England then certain random number generators in computers start to deliver ordered numbers instead of the random ones. An ordered group consciousness creates order in its whole surroundings!

To come back to the DNA It apparently is also an organic superconductor that can work at normal body temperature. Artificial superconductors require extremely low temperatures of between 200 and 140°C to function. As one recently learned, all superconductors are able to store light and thus information. This is a further explanation of how the DNA can store information. There is another phenomenon linked to DNA and wormholes. Normally, these super small wormholes are highly unstable and are maintained only for the tiniest fractions of a second. Under certain conditions stable wormholes can organize themselves which then form distinctive vacuum domains in which for example gravity can transform into electricity.

Vacuum domains are self-radiant balls of ionized gas that contain considerable amounts of energy. There are regions in Russia where such radiant balls appear very often. Following the ensuing confusion the Russians started massive research programs leading finally to some of the discoveries mentions above. Many people know vacuum domains as shiny balls in the sky. The attentive look at them in wonder and ask themselves, what they could be. I thought once: Hello up there. If you happen to be a UFO, fly in a triangle. And suddenly, the light balls moved in a triangle. Or they shot across the sky like ice hockey pucks. They accelerated from zero to crazy speeds while sliding gently across the sky. One is left gawking and I have, as many others, too, thought them to be UFOs. Friendly ones, apparently, as they flew in triangles just to please me. Now the Russians found in the regions, where vacuum domains appear often that sometimes fly as balls of light from the ground upwards into the sky, that these balls can be guided by thought. One has found out since that vacuum domains emit waves of low frequency as they are also produced in our brains.

And because of this similarity of waves they are able to react to our thoughts. To run excitedly into one that is on ground level might not be such a great idea, because those balls of light can contain immense energies and are able to mutate our genes. They can, they don’t necessarily have to, one has to say. For many spiritual teachers also produce such visible balls or columns of light in deep meditation or during energy work which trigger decidedly pleasant feelings and do not cause any harm. Apparently this is also dependent on some inner order and on the quality and provenance of the vacuum domain. There are some spiritual teachers the young Englishman Ananda, for example with whom nothing is seen at first, but when one tries to take a photograph while they sit and speak or meditate in hyper communication, one gets only a picture of a white cloud on a chair. In some Earth healing projects such light effects also appear on photographs. Simply put, these phenomena have to do with gravity and anti-gravity forces that are also exactly described in the book and with ever more stable wormholes and hyper communication and thus with energies from outside our time and space structure.

Earlier generations that got in contact with such hyper communication experiences and visible vacuum domains were convinced that an angel had appeared before them. And we cannot be too sure to what forms of consciousness we can get access when using hyper communication. Not having scientific proof for their actual existence people having had such experiences do NOT all suffer from hallucinations does not mean that there is no metaphysical background to it. We have simply made another giant step towards understanding our reality.

Official science also knows of gravity anomalies on Earth that contribute to the formation of vacuum domains, but only of ones of below one percent. But recently gravity anomalies have been found of between three and four percent. One of these places is Rocca di Papa, south of Rome exact location in the book “Vernetzte Intelligenz” plus several others. Round objects of all kinds, from balls to full buses, roll uphill. But the stretch in Rocca di Papa is rather short, and defying logic sceptics still flee to the theory of optical illusion which it cannot be due to several features of the location

Many of these experiments were done in rooms shielded from all electromagnetic signals proving this phenomenon cannot be explained by any known energy waves in the conventional spectrum.

A tube with ordinary water was placed next to another tube that had water with trace amounts of DNA in it. Both tubes were electrified with a weak 7Hz current. Some of the hydrogen and oxygen molecules in the tube with pure, sterile water transformed into DNA  by a process still unknown to Western science.

Sir Edmund Hoyle, the co-discoverer of the DNA molecule, and Chandra Wickramasinghe noticed that 99 percent of all the dust in the galaxy had peculiar optical properties. The only material that could create these effects in the laboratory was freeze-dried bacteria.In 1980, Sir Hoyle said, I suspect that the cosmic quality of microbiology will seem as obvious to future generations as the Sun being the centre of or our solar system seems obvious to the present generation.
Can DNA be energetically transformed from one species to another ?

The agricultural corporation Ciba-Geigy discovered they could transform existing plant seeds into extinct varieties simply by zapping them with a weak electrostatic current. This generated stronger and faster-growing wheat, extinct fern species and tulips with thorns.

Italian scientist Pier Luigi Ighina energetically transformed a living apricot tree into an apple tree, actually causing the fruits on the branches to metamorphosize in 16 days. He also zapped a rat with DNA-wave information from a cat, causing the rat to grow a cat-like tail in four days.
Korean scientist Dr. Dzang Kangeng got patent #N1828665 for a device that used microwaves to transfer the DNA-wave information of a duck into a pregnant mother hen. Roughly 80 percent of her eggs hatched as half-duck, half-chicken hybrids.

Dr. Peter Gariaev zapped salamander eggs with a low-level laser and redirected the beam into frog eggs. The frog eggs experienced a complete metamorphosis, and grew into healthy adult salamanders.
Is there intelligent human life throughout the galaxy ?

Human life could be a galactic or even universal template  potentially appearing on every habitable, watery planet in the galaxy thanks to the quantum properties of DNA.
The majority of ancient cultures, worldwide, reported interactions with human-looking “gods” or “angels” that gave them powerful assistance  including agriculture, animal husbandry, spoken and written language, construction techniques, mathematics and science, as well as spiritual teachings of morality, ethics and becoming a more loving person.

Highly unusual human skulls have been found around the world, including a series discovered in Boskop, South Africa whose brain capacity is twice that of normal humans  with large heads and small, childlike faces. They were given highly honorable burials  as Discover Magazine revealed in 2009. Bizarre elongated skulls have also been discovered in Peru, Bolivia, Russia and elsewhere-  closely matching the appearance of early Egyptian pharaohs  and some of them are still on display in museums.

Are there vortex points and energy lines on earth ?

In the early 1900s, Sir Alfred Watkins discovered that many different sacred sites in England, from the Stone Age right through to modern abbeys and cathedrals, were built upon straight paths he called “ley lines.”

Ivan T. Sanderson rigorously charted where all the ships and planes were disappearing on Earth, and found ten different “vortex points” including the Bermuda Triangle. Strangely, these points were equidistant  and by adding the north and south poles as well, Russian scientists then found the points assembled into a geometric pattern. NASA / NOAA scientists Drs. Hanshou Liu and Athelstan Spilhaus independently discovered this same geometric pattern in the structure of undersea volcanic ridges and mountain ranges worldwide.

Nearly exponential development of computer technologies processing and data storage capacity can be very helpful in better appreciation of Nature.

Everything that exists is described by numbers. Information about all life forms on our planet (viruses, bacteria, animals and plants) is encoded biologically in DNA. Human life starts as nearly invisible egg (penetrated by sperm), yet at the very moment of conception, all information about the unfolding human form is already there, encoded in DNA.

The arduous work involved in building the system is almost as notable as the achievement itself, says Drew Endy of Stanford University in California who led the work, which is published today in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

Synthetic biologists have long sought to devise biological data-storage systemsbecause they could be useful in a variety of applications, and because data storagewill be a fundamental function of the digital circuits that the field hopes to create in cells.
Rewritable biological memory circuits have been made previously, for instance from systems of transcription factors, which can be used to shut gene expression on or off in a cell. In such systems, once the memory state of the circuit is set, it can be erased and encoded with a new memory state, as is done in everyday devices such as personal computers.

Endy’s group attempted to create a rewritable memory system by splicing genetic elements from a bacteriophage  a bacterium-infecting virus  into the DNA of the bacterium Escherichia coli.

The system consists of a stretch of DNA flanked by sites that signal to enzymes made by the bacteriophage, instructing them to cut out the DNA and paste it back into the chromosome in the reverse orientation. Endy’s group shows that the device can be set and reset repeatedly up to 16 times. One advantage this system has over those using transcription factors is that it is truly digital, with forward and reverse orientations of the DNA acting like a ’0′ or a ’1′ in binary. Also, the cell expends no energy in storing the memory, beyond DNA maintenance, says Endy. He points out that combinations of such elements could be used to track cellular events, such as the series of cell divisions by which a stem cell becomes a differentiated adult cell.

What Drew’s group can do that others haven’t demonstrated is the ability to cycle the memory element over and over, kind of like you can write a bit to a hard drive, read it and change it back over and over again,” says synthetic biologist Eric Klavins of the University of Washington in Seattle.

Digital information is accumulating at an astounding rate, straining our ability to store and archive it. DNA is among the most dense and stable information media known. The development of new technologies in both DNA synthesis and sequencing make DNA an increasingly feasible digital storage medium. We developed a strategy to encode arbitrary digital information in DNA, wrote a 5.27-megabit book using DNA microchips, and read the book by using next-generation DNA sequencing.

A trio of researchers has encoded a draft of a whole book into DNA. The 5.27-megabit tome contains 53,246 words, 11 JPG image files and a JavaScript program, making it the largest piece of non-biological data ever stored in this way.

DNA has the potential to store huge amounts of information. In theory, two bits of data can be incorporated per nucleotide  the single base unit of a DNA string  so each gram of the double-stranded molecule could store 455 exabytes of data (1 exabyte is 1018 bytes). Such dense packing outstrips inorganic data-storage devices such as flash memory, hard disks or evenstorage based on quantum-computing methods.

The book, which is fittingly a treatise on synthetic biology, was encoded by geneticists George Church and Sriram Kosuri at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering in Boston, Massachusetts, and Yuan Gao, a biomedical engineer at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. They report their work in Sciencethis week.

It marks a significant gain on previous projects  the largest of which encoded less than one-six-hundredth of the data  but organic flash drives are still many years away. There are a number of reasons why the method is not practical for everyday use. For example, both storing and retrieving information currently require several days of lab work, spent either synthesizing DNA from scratch or sequencing it to read the data.

The work illustrates the potential of nonconventional approaches, says Stuart Parkin, who is developing dense forms of inorganic storage media at the IBM-Stanford Spintronic Science and Applications Center in San Jose, California. “You could say that the physical sciences have exhausted the playground of concepts, and we now need to go beyond that world,” he says. “This coupling of the biological world to the physical world will lead to some very interesting storage devices in the next decade.”
Short and sweet

Encoding the DNA book didn’t involve fundamentally new technology so much as the creative application of existing techniques, explains Anne Condon, a computer scientist at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, who studies how DNA molecules can be used in computing.

Previous attempts to store information in DNA have been held up by difficulties in making perfect long strands. Shorter molecules present less of a challenge, so Church and his colleagues kept their storage strands a mere 159 nucleotides long, and generated multiple copies of each to make catching and correcting mutations easier.

In each single strand, 96 nucleotides represented the encoded data as digital ones and zeroes; 19 nucleotides showed how these data blocks should be ordered; and 44 nucleotides enabled easier sequencing. The researchers’ binary code assigned ‘zero’ to two types of nucleotide (As and Cs) and ‘one’ to the other two types (Gs and Ts).

“It’s using some simple ideas in very elegant ways to improve the density of information that one can store,” says Condon. She says that the technology will work best for specialized applications in which data need to be stored for a long time without being read.

The ideal storage period might be as long as centuries, says Kosuri. Even as otherstorage technologies become as obsolete as magnetic tape and floppy disks are now, researchers will always be trying to improve technology for reading and writing DNA, because the molecule is so central to biology.

And that will bring costs down over time, enabling DNA data storage to move beyond the realm of demonstration projects. The cost of sequencing technologies has already fallen to about a thousandth of what it was four years ago, says Kosuri, and DNA synthesis has achieved the same drops over the past eight years. “The DNA chip we used for this paper held 55,000 oligonucleotides,” he adds. “The newest ones hold a million.”

Scientists at Harvard University have managed to store 700 terabytes of information in a single gram of DNA  a 1000-fold improvement on the previous record.That’s enough to hold 14,000 Blu-Ray discs, or 233 3TB hard drives, weighing 151kg.”A device the size of your thumb could store as much information as the whole internet,” says molecular geneticist George Church.

“It shows that the vast increase in capacity to synthesise and sequence DNA can be applied to store significant amounts of data,” says Stanford University synthetic biologist Drew Endy.

“If you wanted to have your library encoded in DNA, you could probably do that now.”

To show DNA’s massive storage potential, scientists encoded Church’s latest genetics textbook, and made 70 billion copies – and they all fit in a single test tube.


DNA has many other advantages over traditional forms of data storage. Not only can it store much, much more, it is much more stable – and could last for centuries or millennia, under the right conditions.

The data cannot however be stored in living cells, as normal biological processes would likely wipe it clean.

“The cell kicks out foreign DNA,” says Church. “In a tube, it is less subject to evolution.”

Instead of storing it in living tissue, the DNA is chemically synthesised and stored on a tiny glass chip.

The process is still too costly for it to be commercially feasible, but the price is dropping rapidly. In 2001, it cost $10,000 to sequence 1 million pairs of DNA. By 2012, that price had dropped to 10c, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Scientists are exploring DNA as a data storage mechanism because the sheer amount of data created nowadays. In 2010, Google CEO Eric Schmidt estimated every two days, humans create as much data as the entirety of humanity did right up until 2003.

Social networking and user-generated content is largely to blame  every minute of the day, YouTube users upload 48 hours of video and over 200 million emails are sent, according to tech site Mashable.

“For some archival problems, this could be the wave of the future,” says Church.

 Your body produces billions of new cells every day. Each time one of your cells divides, it must first copy the genetic information contained within its nucleus. Copying the genetic information in one cell using this activity would take more than 95 years*, yet molecular machines in your cells accomplish this feat in about 6 to 8 hours.
In order to speed up the copying process, DNA replication begins at multiple locations along each chromosome. The two DNA strands are pulled apart and copied in both directions at the rate of about 50 nucleotides per second.**

It would take nearly 5,000 strands of DNA laid side by side to equal the width of a human hair. At the magnification shown here (about 7 million X), an average human chromosome would be roughly 621 kilometers (385 miles) long, or roughly the distance between San Francisco and Los Angeles, CA.

Complementary base pairing These models are based on the molecular structure of real nucleotides. The grey and white circles on the models represent partial positive and negative charges that form hydrogen bonds between complementary bases. These bonds work kind of like tiny magnets to hold the two DNA strands together. Complementary base-pairing ensures that DNA strands are copied accurately, with just a few errors for each round of replication. Forces between neighboring nucleotides stack the bases on top of one another and twist the DNA strands into a double-helix.

It Is Never Too Late

So how can we nurture ourselves, and nudge the complex of

epigenetic switches in our bodies to make us as healthy and happy as possible? If you are like me, you did not learn much about self nurturing when you were growing up. By the time I reached thirtyeight years of age, I was running a big publishing company and taking good care of my employees and clients, as well as my wife and children. 

There was only one person I was not taking good care of, and that was me. I had frequent respiratory ailments, and my back ached every day. My joints went out of alignment easily, and I suffered from gout. Some days I was in agony, and I could not move in any direction without screaming involuntarily from the severe pain. I 
battled depression, addiction, and insomnia. I had time for everyone else, but no time for me. When I tried to take some time for myself, there was always someone else’s need to attend to.

Now, in my fifties, I take much better care of myself, and I feel vibrantly healthy. As well as diet and exercise, I pay great attention to emotional health. When I have an upset, I resolve it as fast as possible. And I have a daily routine that supports a peaceful and serene state, despite a busy schedule of lectures and consulting. It took a lot of effort to retrain myself in the art of self-nurture.

Here are the concrete steps you can take to create an emotional

“love nest” for yourself. These are all practical methods to help you handle stress, create inner peace, and release the emotional charge of traumatic events. Best of all, most of them are free, and easy

By “energy medicine,” I mean methods such as Reiki, Donna

Eden’s energy medicine, Quantum Touch, Therapeutic Touch, and other methods that alter the body’s electromagnetic state. A full list appears in the book Soul Medicine.

By “energy psychology,” I mean methods such as Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Thought Field Therapy (TFT), Tapas 

Acupressure Technique (TAT), and other similar therapies that release the emotional charge of traumatic events. In my book The Genie in Your Genes, I provide a full explanation of how energy psychology works, and how to use some of the most popular methods.

The key to epigenetic health is releasing as much as possible of the unhealthy programming we received as children, and then releasing stresses that occur in present time right after they occur.

Try this simple experiment from energy psychology to see how easy it is. Think of a recent incident that deeply upset you. Give it a number from 0 to 10, with 0 being complete peace, and 10 being the most extreme upset possible. Write down your number. Now cross your hands over your heart, and take three deep breaths. Tap on the center of your chest with one hand ten to fifteen times. Take another breath. Now think about the incident again, and write down your 
number. Most people report a big drop in the intensity of their feelings after doing this fast and simple exercise to release emotional charge. Rather than storing all that emotion in your body, you’re letting it go. Do this whenever you have a big emotional reaction and you start to create a life in which you aren’t being the neglectful rat 
mother to yourself! Clean up enough of your real-time emotional reactivity and you can then work on your childhood deficits with the aid of a good coach or psychotherapist.That’s the kind of work I do now, much of it with veterans of the 
wars in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. We teach EFT to soldiers suffering from posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). After they learn to release the intense emotional energy of their combat experiences, many of them apply these methods to their personal lives.

This is part of the Iraq Vets Stress Project (www.StressProject.org), which connects coaches who are teaching EFT with veterans suffering from PTSD. In witnessing the powerful positive changes in the veterans’ lives after EFT, I am awed and humbled to see the difference that self-nurturing makes. 

I’ve also tried this with elite athletes. Helping healthy people release emotional memories enhances their performance. I performed a rigorous type of scientific experiment called a randomized controlled trial (RCT) with the men’s and women’s basketball teams at Oregon State University. We split them into two groups. One received EFT and the other received a placebo treatment, a fake intervention. Before and after treatment, we tested how high they could jump, and how many free throws they could accurately deliver into the basket. Although both groups performed about the same beforehand, their performances afterward were very different. The group that received EFT scored an astonishing 38 percent better at free throws than the group that got the fake intervention! 

I teach EFT to groups through an organization called EFT Power

Training and we’re seeing major changes in the stress levels of executive groups, sports teams, professional organizations, and other collections of people who learn EFT. When you release your stress, you perform better at any task, no matter whether you’re hitting a business sales target, putting a golf ball on the green, doing surgery, 
or coaching a client. As your stress level goes down, all your body’s biological resources become available for cell repair, combating the 
effects of aging, and filling you with lightness and energy.

The bottom line is that you are not living a life script programmed into your DNA at conception and out of your control ever since. You have it in your power to change the on-off switches 
in many of your genes. In fact, you’re doing this every day already, through your emotions and your lifestyle. As you learn the skills of self-nurturing, you consciously select responses that support a long and healthy life. You can increase your physical energy, sharpen your intellectual powers, boost your spiritual practice, and live a life brimming with optimistic promise at any age. So love yourself, and 

choose the best life possible!
