What Are Theta Brain Waves?

What Are Theta Brain Waves?

Using scientific equipment, the electrical activity in the brain can be

measured. Brain wave activity is measured in Hertz (cycles per second).

When the brain is between 4 and 7 Hz, it is in the Theta State.

We experience the Theta State every single day. It's that state of

consciousness just before falling asleep and just after awakening. The

mind is very slow and barely conscious.

We also experience this state while dreaming at night.

Periods of sleep, however, wherein we are not dreaming leave the Theta

State and enter the Delta State (1-4 Hz).

When one is hypnotized or in a very, very deep state of meditation, the

brain is also in the Theta State.

Theta brain wave activity is the bridge between waking and sleeping

, between will power and habits, between your concious mind and your

subconscious mind.

It is only in the Theta State that one can directly influence their

subconscious mind. This is why all focus on putting your brain in a Theta

State. Once accomplished you can most easily get rid of the

subconscious

thoughts, feeling and memories that cause fear, doubt and anxiety.
