Jnana Yoga: The path of Knowledge

Jnana Yoga: The path of Knowledge

Jnana Yoga is the most important path to understand. It is the path of True Knowledge and Wisdom. Knowledge here is not to be misunderstood as intellectual comprehension, but as an intuitive understanding.

The first step on this path is to surrender all beliefs. The ego may be fearful at such an idea, for it believes that it is its beliefs and wants to defend them.

You must understand that the Truth is the Truth and is perfect and complete on its own, it does not need protection. Though you may very well believe in some truths, you surely also believe in some falsities as well.

By surrendering the opinions of the mind, and intending to seek theUltimate Truth, you will find it. You may even discover the deeper meanings of truths that you surrendered.

Many hold to certain beliefs, and refuse all others, judging them as inferior, or preposterous. The truth is that there are many paths that are true, and to judge other paths is to not fully understand the path that you are on.

The truth is that this whole Universe is one manifested creation arising from the unmanifested consciousness of the Supreme Being.

The Supreme Being has many names: God, God the Father, The Creator, The Almighty, The Holy Spirit, God of Moses and Abraham, Allah, Shiva, Brahma, Vishnu, Krishna, The Christ, Christ consciousness, Krishna consciousness, Allness, and many others.

Our consciousness is linked to the Divine consciousness of the Supreme Being. Everything in existence is one. Those who attainEnlightenment experience the state of pure consciousness.

Our physical bodies have no capacity to experience themselves, it is God who is the experiencer. By transcending the ego one attains Self- Realization, where all is one and one is all. Everything is God, The evolution of consciousness is the evolution into our true nature.

This is but a taste of the Wisdom gained through Jnana Yoga. To understand further you might focus on the teachings of the Avatars:Lord Krishna, Lord Buddha, and Lord Jesus Christ.
